The Lifeguard Initiative
The Lifeguard Initiative
We've got some big stuff coming up with the LI in the next couple of months that we wanted to get you guys involved with. The biggest project we're currently in the process of planning out is a fundraiser for baby supplies and material for pregnancy resource centers here in Utah that are in need of more supplies.
Having donated to these groups in the past, we've een that even just a little bit helps. Hopefully, we can hit them with a whole lot more than a little!
We coordinate most of our organization's activities through Discord, so if you'd like to get more involved, feel free to join our Discord server!
Though we were prohibited from marching, thousands of people still made their way down to the capitol this year for the annual March for Life in vehicles for a car parade!
In total, over 500 cars ended up at the rally, including several from The Lifeguard Initiative bearing our flags! We're quite proud we were able to get so many people together, and even more proud that so many Utahns gathered to support the cause of life!
The Lifeguard Initiative is always looking for new members to help promote the cause of life and fight abortion. We have countless opportunities for others to get involved, no matter your skill set.
The Lifeguard Initiative saw a strong turnout at the Pence-Harris VP debate, and we're hoping our on-the-ground activists can show up in equal numbers this January for the March for Life. As many of you know, the National March for Life in Washington DC was shut down and will sadly not be happening this year, however, rallies will still be continuing in most states.
Lifeguard leadership will be attending the Utah march for life this year, and everyone is welcome to come down to the capital with us. Our groups will also be attending marches in other states as well, so don't miss out on meeting up with them if you get the chance.
In preparation for the coming legislative session in most states, we're partnering with other pro-life groups to help churn out content for their organizations and help inform people in key battleground areas. We can use all the manpower we can get, so don't hesitate to contact us if you'd like to get involved!

We highly recommend joining the server, as it is where a majority of LI activity is coordinated and the swiftest way to get answers or help from the LI team.
Please send submissions to thelifeguardinitiative@gmail.com, and if you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to Email them there as well.
As the Lifeguard Initiative begins to expand beyond Quora, we are looking for writers willing to generate content for the website and individuals to help fill empty positions. It's important to remember that the Lifeguard Initiative is still getting off the ground, and we can use all the help we can get.
Because the Lifeguard Initiative is based on an inclusive philosophy with the intent of getting all pro-life advocates more involved, we accept submissions from anyone, whether they are a member of our organization or not. We also offer writing assistance to new writers and will do our best to ensure that it is as easy and simple as possible to get involved with the pro-life movement.
We are also seeking more individuals to fulfill a variety of roles ranging from administrators, animators, voice actors, and more to to in person work and representation. If you're interested in getting involved, you can reach us through our Email, thelifeguardinitiative@gmail.com, or through our Discord Channel. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or comments, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
While the Lifeguard Initiative began as nothing more than an online Quora based writing group, we have expanded to the point that it is feasible to establish a real world presence, promoting pro-life legislation.
Over the past several weeks, we've worked tirelessly towards this. Beginning with Elijah Brian's testimony for the Value Them Both Amendment in Kansas on January 21, 2020, we have focused on getting our members to legislative events, hearings, and more to promote the cause of life in multiple states.
Most recently, our representatives have prepared testimony for hearings in the Utah Senate Health & Human Services Committee hearing on S.B. 67, Disposition of Fetal Remains, attended pro-life action meetings, contacted lawmakers, and more.
We're making a difference. You can too.
